Notebook angle adapter V2 and low profile USB cable

USB powered FiiO E3- 1101HA edition
Posted at 16:48 on November 23rd 2009 in Lifestyle hacks, NetbooksI like bass, but built in software equalizers suck. FiiO e3 and E5 amps are cheap and have good bass boost, but adds an extra lump on the cable and you have to worry about battery. I fixed that.

ViewGuard matte screen protector for EEE 1101HA

Modding my netbook messenger bag
Thought there was a limit to what you could mod? There isn't. When I got the 1101HA, my old 10" netbook bag wouldn't fit the new netbook so I bought a new one with more room in it. It did however require some modifications to get it fully tailored to me.

Wallet-ready USB toolbox
Being a geek often means you're tech support for half the local community. Just yesterday I was ambushed by two people at work who wanted computer help, and that's not the first time. As a well prepared geek, my wallet has some tools that might come in handy.

DIY iPhone hanger for laptops/netbooks
I often tether my iPhone to my netbook in the car, on the bus etc but always end up with a problem concerning where I should put the phone. As such I've been playing with an idea to make a holder of sorts.

There is however a lot you can do to further improve the experience, both hardware-wise and software-wise.

USB 90 Degree Adapter for Aspire One
There are adapters to angle things, but they stick out a lot. I realized that if I wanted an adapter that would actually do what it was supposed to,I would have to make it myself.
