Leatherman PS4 sheath prototype
Yesterday I got an idea for a new kind of sheath for fold-open pliers based multitools. Some sketchup sketches and a duct tape prototype later I had a plan for making a real prototype.

$3.73 Microbit Driver Pen
Posted at 20:27 on September 10th 2010 in EDCThis is a nice little gadget for those who (like me) like microbits more than regular bits. It didn't say in the item description that it was a standard 4mm microbit driver, but it is, and that's awesome!

Streamlight Nano review
Posted at 09:44 on September 10th 2010 in EDCGot this tiny light to always keep on my neck lanyard with my keys, and it's great. Only 10 lumen rated output, but that is enough for many everyday tasks, and a heck of a lot more than most keychain lights.

Leatherman Squirt bit and microbit adapters
Any multitool should be able to use bits, so of course I had to find a way for my new Squirt PS4 to use them as well.

Posted at 01:31 on August 28th 2010 in EDC, MultitoolsAfter spending a couple of weeks in my laptop bag, this little gadget has taken up a temporary position as my EDC tool until my S4 gets here. That makes this the perfect time to review it.

Victorinox SwissCard Lite review
Posted at 22:57 on August 27th 2010 in EDC, MultitoolsMy issue with a lot of multitools is that they create bulk no matter where I put them. I finally found one that doesn't, and to top it off it has some rather awesome tools.

Gerber Curve review
Posted at 20:32 on August 27th 2010 in EDC, MultitoolsI normally don't like Gerber due to the design and (in my opinion) sub-Leatherman quality, but seeing the Gerber Curve on YouTube made me run off to ebay to get one. Tiny multitools seem to be in these days. Victorinox has their Classic which really is a classic by now since it came out in 1935. Wenger of cours

Tiny EDC Pill Container
Posted at 15:31 on August 27th 2010 in EDCI'm a rather quiet person and don't like noise, in fact I tend to get a headache when there is too much noise and stress around me. The pill container with painkillers I carry in my laptop bag is helpful, but not always with me because of the size. I found one much smaller.

Swiss Army Knife Wood Scales V2
My previous wooden SAK scales were OK, but pine tree isn't exactly the most exotic (or hardest) wood out there. That's why I started looking for some more exotic wood, and I found some.
