I’ve been learning how to use Google Sketchup in the last couple of weeks and needed a big project to really test my skills. Since I’ve been using my previous model of the PS4 for useful things, I wanted to make a better one.

Google Sketchup is a program that lets you create 3D drawings. It’s free, and easy to use compared to other 3D software. It’s still a skill that requires hours and hours to learn though and even more hours to really build something this complcated in 3D. Last time I did a rouch shell of the PS4, but this time I created each and every component from scratch and put it together. That means I can manipulate each of the tools exactly how I want it, which is invaluable since I use the model to plan mods etc. I learned a few more things doing it, but I’m glad I’m finished.
