How to make your own foldable iPod/iPhone stand

I was reading an article over at jkOnTheRun showing a foldable iPhone stand. Old news. I made one myself ages ago, and so can you – for free.

Granted the one in the article isn’t all that expensive and have some nice features like rubber feet (might pick one up myself) but if you just want a cheap solution it’s very easy to make one yourself.

What you need is a pair of scissors, an old card of some sort (like a credit card, library card, phone card etc etc), and tape.

Use this template, either by printing it to fit on a card or by using it as a guide:

Plastic isn’t that bendable so the best thing is to cut it in half and then tape it back together.

That’s it. If you don’t want to spend $6 on a real stand, or just need something quick, this works wonders.
